CLOTHING FOUND

DISCOVERY UNDER WHARF NO TRACE OF OWNER Special to THE SUN RUSSELL, Tuesday. A man’s clothing was discovered under the Opua ’Wharf on Sunday evening, but so far the police have not been able to find the owner. The name ‘‘J. Brownlee" was written in a hat, and the same name appeared on a berth card from the steamer Maunganui, which was dated June 13, 1930. A halt-emptied bottle of spirits was also found near the clothing. The police have made thorough investigations, but can find no trace of the owner of the property.
