STRUGGLE WITH POLICE Press Association DANNEVIRKE, Today. A native, James Walker, formerly a well-known Hawke’s Bay Rugby representative, was arrested on Saturday afternoon, after a struggle with the police. He was today fined £5 or orr month’s gaol for resisting the police, £3 or three weeks’ gaol for using* obscene language, and was convicted and discharged on a charge of drunkenness. He was ordered to pay for the damage to a constable’s shako.
