FRENCH TROOPS. ARRANGE FINAL CEREMONY STRIKING ALLIED FLAGS Reed. 12.35 p.m. PARIS, Sunday. The Great War will be definitely over at 3 o’clock on June 30, when the High Commissioner of France and General Gfiillaumat, Commander of the Rhine Army of Occupation, will leave Mayence by special train with the last French battalion.

The Allies’ flags, which have flown for nearly 12 years at Wiesbaden and Mayence, will be struck in the presence of the Allied High Commissioners, a battalion of infantry performing the honours.
