DERRY POINTER
TJOWN South there is a novice pacer named Derry Pointer that a couple of months back won a heat to knock somewhere in the vicinity of 14 seconds off its handicap. Tomorrow at Ashburton Derry Pointer is on 24 yards in the Winchmore Handicap, an event with a 3.42 limit, and it is almost certain that this pacer will start a sound favourite. On the 48 yards mark is GREAT DE ORO, an improving customer that promises to give his rivals' backers a big shock.
