SURPRISE PARTY
HAPPY EVENING AT PARNELL A very jolly surprise party was given to Miss Aimee Clapham at her home, St. Stephen’s Avenue, Parnell, last evening, and a happy time was spent in dancing, games and competitions Miss Clapham wore a pretty frock of sunset taffeta and gold lace. Mrs. Clapham was in black satin with black embroidered shawl. Among those present were: Miss Ngaire Hesketh, in a frock of ankle length frilled primrose satin beauteMiss* N McCrystal. ankle-length apple green taffeta; Miss Nell Ramage, white secmlned georgette and tulle; Miss Davis TV lute, frilled georgette; Miss B. Mair, rose taffeta; Miss W. De’vere, coral georgette; Miss A. Noonan, blue period frock of taffeta; Miss C. Witherow, cyclamen velvet: Miss IT. Baser, chenille georgette; Miss L. Seabrook, alice blue taffeta; Miss T. Davidson, floral taffeta and chenille bridge coat; Miss Mary Lazer, orange embossed chenille velvet.
