FINE FOR DRINKING
FIFTH BREACH OF ORDER “This is the fifth breach of his order,” said Sub-Inspector Shanahan, in the Police Court this morning, when Edward McSweeney pleaded guilty to being found drunk in Karangahape Road and breaking the terms of his prohibition order. The sub-inspector added that accused, who was a labourer, aged 37, had been prohibited in December last. On his last appearance he had been fined £l. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., imposed a fine of £5, in default 14 days’ imprisonment.
