MT. EDEN TRAM ROUTE
TENDERS FOR EXCAVATION LOWEST PRICE ACCEPTED Messrs. Brierly and McLeod, who have carried out tram extension excavation with conspicuous success for the Transport Board, have tendered successfully for the Mount Eden extension, •which has just been started. The firm’s price of £1,558 for the job was the lowest of several prices l'or excavation, received by the board today.
