BIRTHDAY DINNER
KOHIMARAMA PARTY MISS ANDREW IS HOSTESS Miss Loma Andrew, of Kohimarama, was hostess at a jolly little birthday dinner last Saturday evening, when the guests of honour were Miss M. Roberts, Mr. Wally Johnston and Air. J. D. Kelly, who celebrated their birthdays on the same day. The dining room and tables were aglow' with Australian wattle blooms, trailing sprays of fern, and streamers. Airs. Ben Andrew received the guests in mole embossed georgette with blue tinsel coatee. Aliss Loma Andrew wore lemon georgette with green coatee. The guests included: Airs. IT. Roberts, in deep mauve satin; Mrs. James Wilson, black georgette; Airs. A. Johnston, patterned satin; Airs. G. Davies (Napier), blush pink georgette and lace; Airs. J. D. Kelly, floral crepe de chine; Airs. W. Collins (Sydney), scarlet crepe de chine; Airs. F. Tiunter, mole satin; Mrs. J. Hubber, patterned velvet; Aliss Mavis Roberts, navy and gold satin, with red coatee; Aliss Dot Roberts, pink georgette and gold; Aliss Atabel Johnston, fawn and blue crepe de chine; Aliss Inez Wilson, jade crepe de After the dinner the guests were entertained with musical items.
