TRAM EXTENSIONS

RICHMOND ROAD ROUTE SECTIONS AND FARES Sections and fares on the new Richmond Road tram extension which is shortly to be undertaken were opproved by the Transport Board this morning. The decisions must first be ratified by Order-in-Council. The sections will be from the junction of Ponsonby Road with Richmond Road to the intersection of Richmond Road with Disraeli Street. The final section will be from that intersection to the terminus in Richmond Avenue. The fares will be those ruling on other portions of the system.
