WHAT THE STUDIOS RECEIVE
Many oddities are revealed in fan mail deluges at Hollywood motionpicture studios.
Just recently, for example, a letter postmarked in London and addressed only “Marianne, U.5.A..” was delivered to Marion Davies at the Metro-Gold-wyn-Mayer studio. A few weeks previous a letter directed to “Greta Garbo, God Knows Where,” reached the same studio.
