ANIMALS FOR ZOO
MALE LEOPARD ORDERED FLAMINGO AND IBIS ALSO More animals for the- Auckland Zoo are on order by the City Council. The Town Clerk, Mr. J. S. Brigham, said today that London had been cabled for the purchase of a male leopard to replace the one which died some months ago. The council was also seeking to acquire some red flamingoes and sacred ibis.
