OLD SKELETON DUG UP

CHRISTCHURCH DISCOVERY Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. A human skeleton was dug up by gardeners working in the Botanic Gardens today. It was in an excellent state of preservation. The skeleton is probably that of a Maori, and the condition of the bones indicated that it had been buried for 100 years.
