MOTOR-CYCLING
ROTORUA CLUB’S MEETING From Owr Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Today. A meeting of the Rotorua MotorCycle Club decided to hold a sports meeting on the Mount Beach on July 27, in return for the many courtesies extended by other clubs in the Bay area. It -was decided that the local club’s track on the Atiamuri Road was rather too dangerous for winter riding, owing to the likelihood of rain and frost. A fair amount of money would be required to put it in riding order. Among the chief prizes and trophies are those for the 20-mile open handicap. the Norton Cup (presented by Mr. E. C. Ado’.ph). and a miniature (presented by Mr. A. de Leun). Good prizes have been arranged for six events.
