£8,646,764 COLLECTED LARGE INCREASE OVER 1928 Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Customs duties collected in New Zealand during the quarter ended March 31 totalled £2,061,483, as compared with £1,997,112 for the corresponding period last year. The Excise duties amounted to £238,967 and £214,624 respectively for the March quarter of 1930 and 1929. The total Customs revenue for the financial year 1929-30 amounted to £8,*646,764 and the Excise duties to £912,925, as compared with £7,807,744 and £810,247 respectively for the previous financial year.
