Each phase of play including the scrum work, line-outs, kicking and passing, was covered, while an interesting piece of strategy practised by the tacks, obviously with particular attention to possible spoiling tactics by the opposition, was the use of a short kick by the inside backs. Reverse passing by Aarvold and Spong was also practised. Mr. James Baxter stated after prac. tice that no further training would be done before the test. Tomorrow, those chosen would rest in preparation for Saturday’s match. The ground is at present In splendid order and if the weather holds Saiur- : day's match would bo a classic of its | kind.
