Mr. J. A. Young, M.P. for Hamilton, v as a passenger by the Limited today. Sir George Fowlds returned to Auckland by the Limited express this rooming. Mr. J. S. Wilson, of Timaru, is visiting Auckland and leaves tomorrow for Rotorua. Mr E. Casey, divisional superintendent of railways for the North Island, arrived by the Limited today. Mr. S. Vickers has been re-elected chairman of the Taranaki Hospital Board, according to a Press Association message from New Plymouth. Mr. M. H. Wynyard, motorists’ representative on the Main Highways Board, left last evening for Wellington to attend a meeting of the board. Mr. J. Armstead left last evening for Wellington to attend the Dominion conference of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, as the delegate from the Auckland branch.
