DIFFICULTIES OVER DATES Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. At a meeting of the council of the yew Zealand Football Association this evening a letter from the Auckland Association was read, suggesting tha. the date for the challenge match with Wellington for the Football Association Trophy should be August 16. It would be difficult to arrange any earlier date, owing to Chatham Cup matches and other fixtures. The council decided to telegraph to the Auckland Association, stating that , the game should be played not later , than July 5 or 12. • j Ail associations are to be informed , that unless dues are paid by July l ; the council will take steps to deal j with them.
