MAN DIES FROM SHOCK

After nearly four weeks in the Auckland Hospital, Mr. James Grierson died this morning from shock as the result of being knocked down by a motor-car on the evening of May 23. Mr. Grierson was an elderly man, who lived at Epsom. The accident occurred at 7.30 p.m. at the intersection of Ranfurly Road and Manukau Road. The car was driven by Mr. E. C. Whitehouse. An inquest was opened this afternoon.
