LEFT TO SUFFOCATE

BANK OFFICERS LOCKED IN AIR-TIGHT SAFE WORK OF ROBBER GANG Reed. 11.55 a.m. WARSAW, Monday. A gang of six entered the Handlowly Bauk at Lodz on Sunday and it is believed they locked the officials in the safe. It is not likely they are alive as the safe is not ventilated. Frantic efforts to open the safe have been unsuccessful. An S.O.S. has been issued to Warsaw and Prague for professional safebreakers to rush to Lodz.
