DEMOCRATIC IDEA DOES NOT GO AT DARWIN MINISTER’S DECREE RESENTED Reed. noon. DARWIN, Today. Members of the town council resigned in a body following a message from Mr. Blakeley, Minister of Home Affairs, ordering the postponement of the council election in view of the early introduction of adult suffrage. Hitherto the council lias been elected by ratepayers only.
