RELIEF IN WELLINGTON
CITY WILL RAISE £45,000 Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. The Wellington City Council has decided to raise an unemployment relief loan of £ 45,000. The Acting-Mayor, Mr. M. F. Luckie, mentioned that the council had been able to secure very much better conditions than hitherto in respect of the Government subsidy.
