KING’S OLD BOYS

ANNUAL REUNION NEXT WEEK’S PROGRAMME A number of functions; will mark the 17th annual reunion of the Kind’s College Old Boys’ Association which will bo celebrated next week. On Friday afternoon, June 27, the association has its annual meeting in the Lewis Eady Hall. In the evening a theatre and supper party will be held. On Saturday, June 28, the Grammar v.' King’s football match will be played at the Grammar School and in the evening the annual dinner will be held at the Waverley. On the Sunday the old boys Will drive to the college, Middlemore, for morning service. After lunch at the college they will go to King’s School. Remuera, where they will take part in another chapel service. Afterward the old boys will be guests of the headmaster at afternoon tea.

The report of the committee states that the membership is 616, including 23 foundation and three life members. The total roll had fallen by 56. The gymnasium started and maintained independently by Messrs. Palmer, Tisdall, Hain and Fraser last year, was now fairly established and was filling a. decided need. The old boys’ cricket team had had a very successful season, having won the senior B competition. The committee expresses satisfaction with the association’s finances.
