REFORMERS PERTURBED

MR. LOWRY’S NOMINATION From Our Own Correspondent MORRINSVILLE, Today. Prominent members of the New Zealand Reform. League are perturbed regarding the published nomination of Mr. W. R. Lowry as Reform candidate for Rotorua. They state that branches throughout the electorate have not been consulted on the matter, and consider that Mr. F. Hockly has first claim. Failing Mr. Hockly, who represented the electorate from when it was first formed, until the last election, then they are of the opinion that there are several residing within the electorate who have strong claims for selection. It would seem that Mr. Lowry’s nomination will not go unopposed. Mr. Lowry is a resident of Morrinsville, which is in the Waikato electorate.
