PARTY ON MOUNT EGMONT Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe spent the weekend on Mount Egmont and were delighted with the magnificent spectacle the mountain presents in fine weather after a heavy fall of snow. Yesterday morning their Excellencies toured North Taranaki, including Inglewood and Waitara. At a Bell Block Jersey farm Lady Bledisloe was presented with a jar of cream. Then the party was motored to the North Egmont hostel, where there was plenty of ice. Snow lay thick on the mountain sides and their Excellencies were greatly impressed with the scenery. They. leave tomorrow morning.
