CAR DESTROYED BY FIRE

A five-seater motor-car, owned by Mr. li. Gwillam, of Mount Eden, was totally destroyed by fire on the property of Mr. Jeffs. Great South Road. Papatoetoe, at 3.30 yesterday afternoon. Mr. Clwillam had just arrived and gone into £he house when the car burst into flames. The Papatoetoe Fire Brigade was notified, but the car was too far burned to allow the brigade to do anything. It was insured in the N.I.M.U. Insurance Company for £2 50.
