RUGBY LEAGUE AND THE PRESS N.Z. COUNCIL MEETS “If we got more assistance from the Press of the South Island, our game would progress more. Not only do we not get assistance but we often get bias.” This statement was made by the chairman of tlie Council of the New Zealand Rugby Football League, Mr. C A.
