TALKIES FOR NORTHCOTE

Northcote’s only picture theatre is to have the latest talkie equipment installed. It is not anticipated that any great structural alterations will be needed, and it is fully anticipated that the necessary change-over will be accomplished within three weeks. The acoustic properties of the theatre have been quite satisfactory when the theatre has been used for concerts and meetings, and the theatre should be eminently suitable for talkies.
