Press Association PALMERSTON X., Tuesday. In the North Island clay bird championship, in which there were 3S competitors, T. A. Wrigley (Levin) and H. Quarterman (Taihape) tied with 21 birds each. In the shoot-off Wrigley vvon. T. A. Howard (Hatuma) and A. Myers (Mangarimu) tied for third place.
