VICE REGAL PARTY’S RECEPTION ROTARY CLUB LUNCHEON Press Association WANGANUI, Today. His Excellency the Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe arrived shortly before 11 o’clock this morning. They were welcomed by a large crowd, including the Mayor, Mr. W. J. Rogers, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, Minister of Railways, Mr. J. T. Hogan, M.P. for Rangitikei, city councillors, and a guard of honour supplied by the Technical College cadets and the Junior Garrison Band. Before leaving the platform, their Excellencies were vigorously cheered, and they then inspected the guard of honour and the band, and drove to the Rutland Hotel. They were entertained at a Rotary Club luncheon this afternoon, and will be given a reception this evening.
