I>r. P. Marshall was a passenger from Sydney by the Ulimaroa this morning. Dr. and Mrs. W. B. Kirkland arrived from Sydney by the Ulimaroa this morning. Sir William Hall-Jones was a passenger to the South by the Limited last evening. Mr. K. P. Towle, president of the Auckland Law Society, was a passenger on last evening’s Limited. Mr. C. Kempton, C.8.E., . managing director of Vocalion, Ltd., will reach Auckland by the Aorangi on Sunday. Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, chairman of the Auckland Electric-Power Board, left Auckland by the Limited last evening. Mr. G. Baildon, Mayor of Auckland, will leave for Wellington this evening to attend the meeting of the executive of the Municipal Association. The Hon. W. B. Taverner, Minister of Public Works, who visited Arapuni yesterday, booked to Wellington from Frankton Junction by the Limited last evening. Mr. William Goodfelfow, managingdirector of the New Zealand Co-oper-ative Dairy Company, travelled from Wellington to Frankton Junction by the Limited this morning. Dr. H. E. Annett, of Matangi, arrived in Auckland yesterday, and stayed at the Grand Hotel. He left for the North today to confer with larmers* organisations. Mr. Justice Ostler arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning to take Mr. Justice Herdman's position on the Bench during the latter’s Absence at the Hamilton session. Mr. H. P\ Ayson, President Commissioner of the Cook Islands and Judge of the High Court and the Native Land Court of the group, arrived at Auckland this morning by the Limited. Mr. R. R. Burridge, Crown Prosecutor of Palmerston North, arrived in Auckland yesterday by the Tofua after visiting Samoa. He will spend a few davs here before going South. He is accompanied by Mrs. Burridge. Mr. J. Webster, of Mount Albert, arrived back in Auckland by the Tofua yesterday after a visit to Samoa, where he stayed with his brother, Mr. R. Swain Webster, assistant manager of the Vailili Government plantations near Apia. Dr. John Mark, son of Mr. John Mark, of Te Puke, Ims qualified in London as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
