NOVEL SPORTING TRIAL
NORTH SHORE CLUB FIXTURE Another novel sporting trial has been organised by the North Shore Motor-cycle and Sports Club, which, with the addition of eight new members at its monthly meeting last evening, now has more than 70 names on its register. The trial has been fixed for the afternoon of June 29. The route has not yet been fixed finally, but is expected to lie over the hilly country immediately north of Albany, on the east coast, and to lead across narrow wagon tracks winding through the valleys over a total distance of about eight miles. Speed will count in this trial, but there will also be observed sections in which steadiness of riding and ability to handle the machines will count.. If the track is at all slippery good sport is assured. Club members will hold a run over the course on Sunday afternoon, leaving Hall’s Corner, Takapuna, at 1.30 p.m.
