SPORTS CLUB AFFAIRS

ANNUAL MEETING TONIGHT Many questions of importance to motor-cyclists will be discussed at the annual meeting of the Sports Motorcycle Club, which will be held in the Chamber of Commerce this evening. A report is to be presented by the president, Mr. W. P. Marett, and officers for the year elected. The date of the club’s proposed hillclimbing contest at Mangere Mountain will also come up for discussion. Rain last Saturday prevented riders training, over the course and it is probable that the event will be postponed until more favourable weather can be expected. The contest will certainly not be staged on Saturday next, as was expected.
