DISCARDED TRAM TICKETS

“MAKING STREETS UNTIDY” The Civic League wrote to the Auckland Transport Board this morning stating that a complaint had been received about the habit of tram passengers of throwing discarded tram tickets anywhere. Writing to the league the complainant said that every day his drive was littered with discarded tram tickets and that his neighbours had the same unhappy’ experience. In Glasgow there were boxes placed in the front and back of the cars in which citizens deposited used tickets on leaving the tramcars.
