EARL ASHTON WAS WORTH ABOUT £30,000,000 DAUGHTER BENEFITS LATER LONDON, Saturday. The late Lord Ashton, whose death occurred on May 27, and who was reputed to be worth between £20,000,000 and £30,000,000, died intestate. His aged widow is thus entitled to a life interest in one-half of his estate, and his daughter, who married Earl Peel, will be entitled to the whole of the estate after her mother’s death.
