PRESS MUST HELP IN ITS RECONSTRUCTION Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Sunday. “The Times,” in commenting upon the speech of Mr. Lloyd George at the Imperial Press Conference, says it recognises by common consent that if unity of Empire is to endure, and if the Empire is to hold together, as we are all concerned it should, the task of reconstruction is imperative. “Old links have been discarded,” it says. “New must be created. This cannot be achieved without the cooperation of the Press of the Empire.”
