AERO CLUB EVENT

LANDING CONTEST HELD Another landing competition organised by the _ Auckland Aero Club took place at the Mangere Airdrome on Saturday afternoon, when 15 competitors took part. Although the weather conditions were not suited to good flying, some fine landings were made and SquadronLeader L. M. Isitt, who acted as judge, commented favourably upon the standard of flying displayed. The results were as follow:—Mr. L. M. Squir'e, 1; Mr. S. A. Andrew, 2; Mr. E. B. Waters, 3.
