Obituary
MRS. ELIZABETH GOING Mi's. Elizabeth White Going, who has died at Onerahi, Whangarei, was born in 1853. She spent her youth at Mangapai and married Mr. H. A. Going, of Onerahi. where she lived for 50 years. Mrs. Going is survived by her husband, three daughters and three sons. mr. james McGovern Born at Sligo, Ireland, in 1864, Mr. James 11. McGovern, who died at Birkenhead on Friday, came to New Zealand 2 6 years ago. He was in the grocery business at Grey Lynn for some years and established a store at Birkenhead in 1909. In his early days he was a well-known athlete, taking part as a runner and as a jumper in the Irish county championships. He is survived by his wife, a daughter and two sons.
