The remains lie In richly ornamented stone coffins, and many stone axes have been found at depths indicating the probability that many other graves from the same period will still be found. At AVosnitzen. near Sensburg, a burial place dating from the days of the Roman Caesars has been discovered. The bodies were cremated and the ashes buried in covered urns.
