WEDDING BELLS AT MORRINSVILLE

BRIDE IN IVORY BROCADED TAFFETA ATKINSON—PARLOUR Autumn-tinted (eaves and greenery decorated St. Matthew’s Church, Morrinsville, on Tuesday evening for the wedding of Margaret Annie, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Parlour, of “Dalton, M Studholme Street, and Robert Ronald, only son cf Mr. R. and the late- Mrs, Atkinson, of “llton,” Pukekura, Cambridge. Canon Gillespie performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an Ankle-length frock of ivory brocaded taffeta, made with a tight-fitting ruched bodice and large taffeta bow falling over a bouffant skirt. Her hand embroidered tulle veil, which was arranged with a coronet of orange blossoms, fell in long graceful lines, forming a train. A sheaf of pink and white chrysanthemums and carnations completed a charming toilette. Aliss Alary Parlour, the chief bridesmaid, wore a frock of lavender georgette with ankle-length flared skirt and tight-fitting corsage, finished with tiny bows and shoulder spray. Aliss Gwen Atkinson was in shell pink georgette with long uneven flared skirt finished with large tulle bow and shoulder spray. They both wore pretty tulle headdresses and carried bouquets to tone.

Air. C. Thompson was best man and Air. J. Giles acted as groomsman. A reception, followed by a dance, was held in the Alasonic Hall, which was beautifully decorated with pink and mauve streamers and cherry blossom. Airs. S. C. Parlour received the guests wearing a brown lace gown with hat to tone. Her cape was of brown crepe de chine lined with deep gold and she carried a posy in gold and brown shades. Airs. Alan Feist, sister of the bride, wore a frock of floral beige georgette and lace with beige crepe de chine cape trimmed with fox fur. Miss Joyce Parlour had on a pretty frock of moss green georgette with diamente trimmings. Miss Elsie Atkinson, sister of the bridegroom, lemon flared taffeta appliqued in rose and black. Airs. J. Parlour (Auckland) wore a smart frock of nattier blue satin marienne.
