PRUSSIA’S POLICE

OFFICERS FROM ARMY Prussia maintains a police force of 54,194 men, it was stated in an official announcement based on the salary sheets. Of the 2,362 police officers, 27 per cent, were formerly army officers and 23 per cent, held non-commis-sioned rank. A further 26 per cent, rose from the police ranks.
