LOAN FOR WELLINGTON
£121,000 RAISED IN LONDON Pres 3 Association WELLINGTON, Today. A loan of £121,000 has been negotiated for Wellington City in London. The Deputy-Mayor. Mr. M. F. Luckle, states that it was obtained at 5 per cent, par, and that the net cost of raising was small. The amount represents the balance of loans authorised in 1927 and 1928 for paving and drainage.
