NORTH SHORE HOSPITAL

TIME NOT OPPORTUNE The opinion that the proposal of the Xorthcote and Birkenhead Borougrs to establish a separate hospital for the North Shore was premature, was expressed by the Takapuna Borough Council last evening. The suggestion was that Takapuna Borough and the Waitemata County Council should join forces with those moving for the establishment of the hospital. Accepting the advice of its works committee, the Takapuna Borough Council resolved it would not agree to becoming a party to the movement, as, in its opinion, the time was not opportune.
