QUIET WEDDING

TAIT—WILLIAMS i ' A wedding of interest to a wide circle of friends was quietly celebrated last week, when Miss Gwyneth Annette Williams, second daughter of Mrs. Barrington-Snow, of Northcote, was married to Mr. John James Tait, *' of Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Mr. and Mrs. Tait left Wellington on Saturday by the Mataroa for England, where their future home will be. WOMEN’S PROGRESS CLUB WEEKLY MEETING The usual weekly meeting of the Women's Progress Club va® held at The Temple (corner of Pitt and Wellington Streets, Auckland), on Wednesday afternoon. A very interesting address was given by Mrs. Moore, on “The Mastery of the Master,” and was greatly appreciated by those present. Social discussion and tea brought to a close a very happy afternoon.
