LAUNCH LEAVES MOORINGS

The high easterly wind yesterday morning cause a 33ft. launch, belonging to Mr. J. McLachlan of Napier Street, to break away from its moorings. It was left stranded at the Shelly Beach end of the breakwater in the St. Mary’s Bay boat harbour When the Auckjand Harbour Board’s launch Ferro towed it off it was found, that only minor damage had been done.
