NEW PICTURES TOMORROW •■The Bishop Murder Case,” which lias been thrilling audiences at the New Regent Theatre recently, will have its final presentation there this evening, together with its accompanying programme. “Not So Dumb,” an adaptation of the successful stage farce, “Dulcy.” will be at the Regent Theatre tomorrow with Marion Davies in the starring role. The new Metro-GoldWyn-Mayer a 11-talking picture is sure to be a big hit. Miss Davies has a part made to order for her natural endowments as a comedienne of thp first order. As the beautiful bui blundering Dulcy heroine of the picture, Miss Davies gives another of the inimitably riotous performances to which she first introduced her audiences in ‘‘The Patsy” and “Show People.” Miss Davies is ably supported by a great cast consisting of ’ Elliott Nugent. Sally Starr, Raymond Hacfcett, Julia Faye, Donald Ogden Stewart and other favourites. King Vidor, master director, who made ‘‘The Big Parade,” and other big screen hits, directed “Not So Dumb.” Ina Claire, regarded as one of the foremost beauties in the American theatre, appears in a Pa the talking screen stage success, ‘‘The Awful Truth.” which will be seen and heard at the Regent as a second attraction tomorrow Miss Claire’s rare beauty is evident in “The Awful Truth,” in which she has te support of a cast including Henry Daniel, well known on the Broadway and English stage; Paul Harvey, who played with her in the stage production; Blance Frederici and Theodore Von Eltz. Marshall Neilan directed under the supervision of Maurice Revnes.
