STRUCK BY TIMBER
A blow on the head from a piece of timber yesterday caused concussion, as a result of which Mr. Arnold Fry. of 2 Mercer Street, Ponsonby, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. He is a married man, aged 24 years, and was employed at the time of the accident on excavations for the foundations of a new building in Quay Street. His condition is not serious.
