NEW MINISTER OPENS SHOW
MR. MURDOCH IN WAIRARAPA Press Association MASTERTON, Monday. The Wairarapa Winter Show was opened this evening by the Hon. A. J. Murdoch, Minister of Agriculture. This was his first official act since attaining Ministerial rank. Several speakers emphasised the importance of developing primary and secondary industries, especially in times of economic stress.
