ENJOYABLE DANCE
SCARLET AND GOLD IS GAY DECORATIVE SCHEME On Friday evening a very enjoyable dance was arranged by the Herd-testing Association in the Regent Ballroom in Hamilton. The host and hostess were Air. and Airs. C. M. Hume. The hall was very gay with scarlet and gold streamers and excellent music was played by the Maritza Band. Among those present were:—Airs. Pratt, wearing periwinkle blue satin; Aliss D. Pratt, in a smart frock of primrose moire; Aliss G. Smith, shell pink frock of georgette and taffeta; Aliss P. English, jade green georgtte and gold; Aliss A. Edgecurabe, wearing a flowered georgette of hydrangea blue; Aliss E. Wilson, in letterbox red georgette and lace;; Aliss D. Speight, blue shot taffeta appliqued in pastel shades; Aliss W. Stephens, shellpink organdie period frock; Aliss P. Taylor, black chiffon velvet; Miss K. Fitzgerald, leaf green shot taffeta; Aliss F. Snell, frock in willow green organdie; Aliss E. Hume, frock of nile green georgette and gold lace; Miss G. Partridge, wearing black lace and georgette. Aliss L. Lobban, in flame georgette; Aliss E. Findlay (Tauhei), rose shot taffeta; Aliss B. Tallis peach pink taffeta and silver lame; ATiss N. Shepherd, lettuce green frock of satin beaute; Aliss R. Shepherd, in cameo pink georgette; Aliss A.
