MR. NORMAN URQUHART

Born at Bath, m 1861, Mr. Bane went to Australia as a young man, starting a business at Kiama, about 70 miles sold Vds n ydney ‘ Somc 1-ears later he sold his business and went to sea as .head baker on the original steamer Aorangi. After serving on other i steamers of the Union Steam Shin Company he settled in Auckland, and | wonted at his trade, eventually aci quiring Begge’s bakery at Devonport. During the war he moved to Takapuna ; where he had lived since. .air. Banc j leaves one son and four daughters.
