FAMOUS CATHEDRAL RECONSTRUCTED.—The Cathedral at Ypres, destroyed by German shells in the war, has been reconstructed and the opening ceremony took place on April 13, when the first Mass was celebrated. Hundreds of English people attended the ceremony. It has taken seven years to rebuild the Cathedral, which is on the site of the destroyed building and is modelled, on the same plans, at a cost to the Belgian Government of 20,000,000 francs. Photograph shows the procession to the Cathedral.
